2026 Plain Community Health Consortium Conference

Please note: This is the second day of a two-day event occurring July 20 – 21.

Six DDC Clinic staff members will attend the upcoming 12th Annual Plain Community Health Consortium Conference in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Open to clinicians, scientists, midwives, administrators, and members of the Plain community, this two-day conference focuses on the identification, treatment, research, and care of rare genetic disorders in Plain communities, including Old Order Amish and Mennonite populations.

Conference highlights include novel research and therapies for rare genetic conditions, as well as collaborative efforts among major medical centers, universities, and rural health clinics.

The event is hosted by the Clinic for Special Children in Lancaster, PA.
