Midwife Day – A Day of Genetics, Community and Collaborative Care

Calling all midwives! Join us a day of community and education. Connect with our clinic’s team and fellow midwives serving Plain communities as we share our clinic and laboratory’s story, explore the life-changing impact of genetic testing, and discuss how we partner to provide the best care for families.

What you’ll take away:

• Deeper understanding of our clinic’s work
• Confidence discussing basic genetics with patients
• Practical knowledge of our Genetic Awareness Panel (GAP) and its use as a supplemental newborn screening tool
• Firsthand look at our laboratory facility
• Hands-on training for infant CPR skills
• Admission is free. Lunch and refreshments provided.
