December 21, 2020

DDC Clinic Center for Special Needs Children is pleased to announce that Business Manager, Patti Gallagher, has been promoted to Operations Director. In her new position, Patti will oversee day-to-day operations; manage the organization’s $1.45 million budget; liaison with board members, volunteers and private and public-sector leaders; and in tandem with Medical Director, Dr. Heng Wang, represent DDC Clinic in the many communities it serves.

Patti joined DDC Clinic in 2006. From the outset, she was drawn to the innovative work being done at DDC Clinic and knew this engagement would be a labor of love.

“Our clinic is a special place for the Amish and non-Amish alike,” says Patti. “It’s a place where families find answers for their critically ill children, a place where no child is turned away from care based on ability to pay. It’s been an honor serving so many in need for the last 14 years, and I know the years to come will continue to equate DDC Clinic with hope, healing and love.”

Before coming to DDC Clinic, Patti worked as a banker and operations manager for National City Bank. Committed to serving those in need, she has served on the boards of Enhanced Hope Foundation, Metzenbaum Foundation and Metzenbaum Sheltered Industries for years, and she also chaired the Quilt and Craft Auction at Metzenbaum Center.
